1. How difficult/much time is it to completely take off and put back on the hardtop and drive without any type of top? I live in CA and this could be a major option during the summer time.

2. How much weight is it saving? (I haven't searched on this one, but I will after this post)

3. Are they hard to come by for AP1's? Would it be more wise for me to a.) wait for a car with a hardtop already installed? or b.) buy a car without a hardtop and start looking for a used top seperate?

1. you need two people unless you have some sort of harness/lever/pulley thingy but it only takes about 2 mins to latch and hook everything up.

2. it doesnt save weight if you go with the oem. even if you take out the soft top and motor. the mugen fg or cf might save some weight im not sure...

3. ap1 and ap2 hardtops are the same. they are somewhat difficult to find esp in your matching color. it might take some time. not many ppl sell their s with hardtops because you can easily part it out for extra cash.
