Whenever i start moving in first my car SHAKES. Its like its not gettin enough gas. I am currently running with my TPS unplugged due to surging idlling, so its not running right. Would this have anything to do with shaking in first once i start moving? Also, it seems like ever since i put on my apexi ws2, its shaken alot worse. I think its hitting my shift linkage and viabrating it. I have some ghetto short shift kit on my car, thinking of just taking it off.

oh btw my car idles at about 1500-2000. Would the fact that its idleing so high have something to do with it?

yeah unpluging your TPS has everything todo with your engine not running right... 10:1 your running WAY to lean for one. plus without the TPS your ECU cant use anything but the map sensor to derermin the amount of fuel to give it. you need to plug your TPS back in and just deal with the idle problem. my cars doing it also... have you checked the FITV? and/or the EACV (i think honda calls them the IACV). your TPS is NOT the only thing that will make your idle surge... with key on engine off hook a volt meter upto your TPS and measuer the voltage.. there should be ~.5vs when throtle is closed. and ~4.5v then at WOT. but most deff plug your TPS back in

 

it doesnt surge with it unplugged tho. I replaced my iacv, no use. Ive tried to check my fitv, but havnt had a chance. Id rather it run like **** and get shitty gas milage for now then have it idle like it is. I might just have to bring it to a shop and get them to find out why its surging. Its driving me CRAZY

it should be your FITV check that before you take it to a shop... just with you engine warmed up take off your intake tube and put your finger on the bottom hole in the TB. if there is suction with the car fully warm thats your propblem. the valve is bad.

 

do i need to replace the whole thing or can i fix the fitv somehow?
