Iknow that the 93 Gsr head will work for my 91 ls but can i run the Vtech off a switch so i can keep the ls ecu and harness. a friend if mine ran his like this in his 90 hatch with a b18a1 it seemed to work but the cops took the car after we smashed on a corvett.

 

You can run a RPM activated switch to activate VTEC but the LS ecu doesnt have the proper mapping for that combo. Look for someone who can chip your OBD0 ecu to run the right maps or go OBD1 and run a chipped P28.
