Weight:Power
I have a 96 accord sedan with an h22 swap and omnis that weighs 2720 lbs currently. I am only going to be putting an an-r manifold and nicer exhaust on it for this season. I am looking for ways to get it a bit lighter.
as it sits: no a/c, no ps, no cruise control, aluminum rad, interior is as gutted as I want it.
Here are few things I am thinking of to get it lighter please add more if you have any ideas. Thanks.
Small racing battery(what brands would you recommend?)
Carbon fiber hood.

This is a really vague question. You want us to list everything you can do to make your car lighter? You can spend thousands of dollars replacing parts w/ CF, all lexan windows, forged lightweight rims, aluminum suspension components, etc. Is this a dedicated racecar? What's your budget?

This car is not a dedicated track car. But it is only driven during the spring and summer months. It will see the track maybe 5-6 this summer. I dont have a budget but I do not have unlimited financial resources either.

fixed it for ya.
if you can't figure out how to make your car lighter on your own.....
if you can't figure out how to write a post that accurately describes your problem, the restrictions you face, and the solutions you've exhausted.....
nate - has a billion things in his head that you could do to lighten your car, but 99.9% of them get thrown out if your primary purpose is to drive the car
