Default H22 low rpm hiccup?

I tryed searching, but to no avail... when my engine is at around 1500-2000 rpm and I try to accelerate by slowely giving it more gas, I get a big hiccup once from the motor, it is like the engine cuts out and then goes... it only happens in lower rpms like i said above, and I cant seem to find the problem, I did plugs, wires are good, cap, rotor.... havent done the fuel filter yet, but I should have plenty of fuel at those rpms, since there isnt a high demand for fuel at that time. I am pretty much going to give up on it and just try to stay above 1500 rpm... but it also does it when taking off from a stop normally... it makes the whole car fall on its face... any ideas guys?

my car does that too, but only when under unnecessary load in low rpm's, for example it will happen in 4th at 800 rpms when I give it gas, but if I downshift to 3rd, it doesn't happen.

That could have to do with your motor mounts, kinda like if you try to start off in 2nd gear, the whole front will kinda shake real nasty...

it doesn't shake, just a split second hesistation, then it pulls normally.

most cars struggle until they hit a certain rpm range. That's not what my car is doing. its not a big problem though, only happens in 4th and 5th, 3rd and below have plenty of power to pull my car from any speed.

Yea mine is only a split second hesitation... I guess it will be ok... I have no codes.. although, I did fix my wiring to my 02 sensor, I had a broken signal wire. I never reset the pcm.. maybe that is why?

have you checked your timing? if its hesitating in a certain rpm range, it wouldn't hurt to check the timing

Check your timing, you might be off a tooth.
