Default damn...this sucks!

Well, i just recently lost my license due to too many points. anyway, ive been thinking about my car a lot lately, and i dont know if i want to continue with it. it has a lot of potential, but it will take a lot of money to do, when i can buy a different car that is faster for less than i would pay for upgrading my current car. im working a lot and saving money for the car, but im looking for advice on what yall think i should do, before i put more money into it when its not worth it. thanks for any input

depends on how you value ur car. as in does it have a lot of sentimental value or you dont really care? you can always work on it while ur waiting to get ur license back too so if its not driveable for w/e reason it wont matter.

No offence but may I suggest that you learn how to drive properly so that you can actually ENJOY your car? getting your lisence jacked is bad for insurnace rates......which is bad for your modding budget.

Let me get this straight. You lost your license (privilege) to drive because of too many points (read that speeding tickets), and you want to get a FASTER car?

Why not put some of that idle money to good use and take a course at the Bob Bondurant School of High Performence Driving? At least I'd feel better about my grandchildren sharing the road with you.

...and you thought I was joking about wrenching rides in the early '70's. Half the problems I have now is forgetting some of the tech that's no longer used.

Nope, 1st I remember was the intro of the Civic in '72 (I think) and the brew-haha several years later about the Honda CVCC engine being the first which didn't need a Catalytic Converter to pass EPA at that time.
In all fairness, I was into Domestic iron at that time; not yet enamored with the intricacies of Honda Vacuum harnesses (they LOVED vacuum hoses back then

well actually, i only had one speeding ticket, but 2 restrictions violations, and a "unsafe backing", lol, but when i first got my car i went 120 past a cop and he pulled me over and i got off with a verbal warning, i was scared. . but i figure that while im not driving and wasting so much money on gas, i can save a bunch for my car. i know ive done stupid things, but dont all kids, or at least most kids, when they get their license? thats not an excuse, but thats the reason. i get my license back on august 1st, so then im driving like a granny, until i get to the track, lol.
