have any of you ever supercharged or turbocharged any of the really old carbureted civics or nething else. im going to soon have an 84' and am thinking of fabricating a supercharger assembly. what kind of issues come up when you put forced induction into a carburetor? im not lookind for something really sick with really hight boost, just somthing to give the car a bit more punch than wut it looks like it has. the car is an 84-85 civic with the 1.5 litre motor.

 

get a different car dont waste your time. your going to spend more for a FI setup thatn the car is worth. dont bother

 

the thing is its a car comming from a relative, and im also looking for somthing very unique, the value of it isn't an issue, i know the car is only worth tops $900. im just looking for some constructive info for any issues that are involved w/ FI a carburetor. the car is more of a fun project then somthing that is worth it, who else has somthing like this?
