To those with Momo Wheels. What do you do about the horn button falling out?
I noticed over time the damn thing is real loose and any movement makes the button pop out. What do you guys do to solve it? Its the damn c Clip i think that has to do with it, mine rusted.
I purchased a used Momo hub when I got my wheel...and it didn't come with the horn ring clip thingy, so I just cut a piece of hard plastic to go between the hub and wheel with a circle cut that allows the horn button to snap in real tight. It's been this way for over a year and a half.
Wrap a little bit of electrical tape around the base of the button to make it a little thicker, and wedge it into the wheel, works perfect.
I have tried the electrical tape route and when it gets hot in the summer or cold in the winter, the glue on the tape loses all stickiness and it starts popping in and out again.

Nope, I am going to give them a call tomorrow morning. Not sure if it is supposed to come with the wheel, or the hub. I bought the hub a long time ago and it didn't come with it then, and today I bought the wheel, and didn't get it now either.
And to think I was about the glue the horn button into the trim ring!

Weird. I had it that way for about 4 years, w/out a problem.

I've been fighting it with my current Sparco wheel for a month or so now. This morning, the button flopped out of the hole in the wheel and the pieces of electrical tape were in my lap. Then the horn grounded itself on the wheel and started honking.
I know I could make it work with some more effort (I think duct tape would stick better) but it was time for a new wheel anyway...

I wrapped some radiator hose tape around the button and pushed it in the wheel. I have not had a problem so far.
