Does ne body make an OBD2 to OBD1 coversion harness for a 2000 p73 ecu?? or can i just move my seconday o2 sensor farther in the exhaust? and what is the difference between the primary and the seconday o2 sensor? i have an greddy e-manage and if take the seconday o2 sensor out would it go to the pre-set settings if the CEL came on.

If you want to switch to OBD1 you will need an OBD2b to OBD1 conversion harness and an OBD1 ECU (chipped or stock).

Once you switch to OBD1 you won't need the secondary O2 sensor as the OBD1 ECU does not look for it.

alright, the car is a 2001 right? what ECU are you trying to use? P73? That would not require a jumper.

So far what you have said has made little to no sense, but if you explain exactly what you're trying to do i'd be more than happy to try and help you

considering a P73 is an OBDII ecu you will never find a harness for OBDIIb to OBDIIb lol

Time to go back to school

You can't convert to OBD1 if you're using an OBD2 ecu. Whatever ecu you have.....thats what version of on board diagnostics you have. Even if you're only using one o2 sensor, its still obd2.
