Default Too many problems

d16z6 in a 90 civic hatch coverted obd1

I try starting my car rite after i dropped it in...everything pluged in rite....and when i start it i hear a noise that sounds like air escaping or moving or sumthing but it wont crank, my tach goes up and down and i hear like a hissing noise

I think my starter is bad but do you guys have any other suggestions?

when i first started it it cranked a lil bit but wont start and then we tried a couple times and i think my engine froze so we manually turned the crank to un freeze it and now its making that weird noise and wont crank at all.

Starter is working but it still wont crank, i took it to the auto shop and they checked that it was working

ya oil, and radiator fuilds are in, would i need tranny fluid in there? cause i sorta drained it before the swap. but i wouldnt see why i would need it just to start the car

Check your fluids make sure they are full. Is the motor a good motor? Is the starter clicking or is it making a sound like it is bound up.

should i fill up the tranny fuilds too? the motor is good my cuzin ran the motor before giving it to me, the starter didnt make any noise, then we thought the engine froze so we manually cranked the car, and then we turned the car on but not turn the key all the way then we put a screw driver between the terminals on the starter and then it made a weird noise like a hissing noise like air was coming out or sumthing, then we tried turning it on with the key and then the car made that same noise, and the tach was going up and down, i brought the starter to the store they checked it and its working

oh ya my dizzy has no coil in it because we hooked it up on MSD ingition (external coil) and so you think we should take out the dizzy and use my brothers other obd1 dizzy?

make sure you hoses are plugged and everything is tight.. ect bolts, harness..
BTW you said you OBO1 conversion, make sure your harness is correct along w/ ecu unless you sent it to rywire or someone

well we used a jumper harness so everything just pluged in. the car cranked before but then after the 3rd time of trying the car stopped cranking
