a couple of weeks ago i have noticed my 98 GSR running a bit on the cooler side (i was on the highway, and it was on the first thick white line) what could this be? oh and i am running a skunk2 catback exaust, and an AEM cold air intake if you have to know. thanks

 

my cars been running a little bit cooler lately in this weather. Im not sure what the cause of it is. Sometimes it runs at normal operating temperatures, but sometimes it stays on the cooler side. Mines a 99 gsr.

 

thermostat might be stuck open...or starting to go bad..put a temp gun on it and see what temp it opens at..

i agree. i had the exact same problem. the culprit was the thermostat. you definately don't want to run cold for long periods of time as you'll be running in open loop and therefore running rich more than your supposed to.

 

My car has been having this problem too, im going to buy another thermostat today.
