Default Which alernator with GSR Swap?

Which alternator am I supposed to use with my GSR swap in my EF. Everything s converted obd1 including jumper harness. I have a battery light that always stays on and it runs power off my battery. After a while it dies out. My alternator is not powering the engine like its supposed to. I tired redoing the wiring for the alternator but it didnt make a difference. Which alternator am I supposed to use for the swap? Thanks

You can use any b-series alternator for your swap as long as it uses the green circle plug(unless you put the squared shaped one in instead) If your throwing a battery light that means there's a malfunction with the charging system. My guess is you have a bad alternator, or the wiring is messed up somewhere. Just take your alternator out and take it to autozone.... they'll test it for free and let u know if it's good or not. Then go from there
p.s. if it is a bad alternator pm me i have one fs for a good price

I figured it would work also, plug and play right?

Well, the battery light stays on and the alternator is not doing it's job like it is supposed to...I checked the wiring a bit on the alternator and traced it back some...doesn't seem like its mesed up.
