Default My Newly Boosted R

This is my first time posting my car here on HT. Been a member i guess now for about 2 years. Done alot of research on this great site. I would of not been able to accomplish what i have today without it. Alright now lets get to the good part. Well i finnaly completed my turbo kit BIG THANKS to Terry over at BoostFed.com and Stan at InlinePro . The setup includes:

Stock b18c5
ARP headstuds
3mm headgastket
Full-Race cam gears
InlinePro manifold
GT35R
Full-Race backdoor intercooler
3inch downpipe
3inch exhaust
750cc injectors
Hondata S200

The car was tuned by Joe Simpson over at Tempest Racing who did a really nice job. JOE'S THE MAN and a really great guy, knows his ****. It put down 296whp 197wtq with 8psi. The car is a blast to drive sooooo much fun . She starts pulling at 4500rpm and by 5400rpm its a monster. 1st gear and 2nd are pretty damn silly. Havnt been able to stick 2nd yet with this damn cold weather. I hopefully will have a video sometime soon. Hope you guys enjoy the pics.

Dyno Graph

Pictures of the setup enjoy

Some of the local weather, 12inches of snow. Figures it snows so i cant drive the R

Im addicted to boost and want to run more psi haha. What you guys think? All comments welcome thanks for looking

No more boost! Perfect setup as-is.

We-todd is down, but if you're not planning to build the motor, you might consider a smaller turbo. GT2871R with the .63 A/R would get you the same power with boost 2000 RPM earlier.

Anyhow, stay under 300 HP, and your ringlands might last a couple years.

Well hopefully by the end of this summer if the bank account allows i was going to buy some forge pistons and rods. I plan to run stock sleeves and see what i could do from there. Im running the .63 A/R GT35R.

Nice choice with the intercooler. Mine was anodized black as well

As Chris said....don't go higher unless you want a head ache.

Looks great!

I bought the HG from InlinePro, but i was told that cometic makes their headgaskets so im assuming its just a cometic HG. So far its holding up great knock on wood

whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaattts up Chris haha.

I didnt spend to much money on the setup . But it was a lot cheaper than a full-race stage 3gt kit which comes with the 35R

With your turbo the possibilities are limitless. But with your stock internals I'd stay at 8psi (296whp) if I were you, that's still gonna be faster than 90% of the cars out there.

I ran 10 psi with a Mitsubishi td06 on a stock GSR motor and made 283whp. You have better injectors and management than I had though. I was running a 95 GSR ECU with a VAFC and RC 370's. This was 5 years ago though.

Very clean set up BTW.
