I have an 89 crx with a b16a and custom turbo. I currently use a Full-Race (shorty) civic Rad. I have a very hard time keeping engine temps. down now. I use the 26.75"L x 6.20"H x 3.50"D 350-Hp Precision Intercooler. How much HP do you plain on getting? Reason I ask is becouse I think the reason my car is overheating is a cobination of size of my radiator and the very large intercooler blocking most of the air that use to hit the radiator directly.

Im using a 92-95 civic alum rad.. and a slimline fan.. Its also mounted on an angle

Im using a 350hp Precision IC.. And full beam.. I hope i dont have any cooling issues.. i have an aftermarket gauge so ill beable to watch them carefully..

Im considering drilling some maybe 3" round holes though my bumper cover/beam right at the area of the radiator so it can get some decent airflow.. not sure how this will look from outside the car. It will be used as a last resort.

Pic. (yeah i know everythings messy/dirty.. its just all fitted for mock up, its comming back apart)

Wait.. we-todd-did is down, no pic

Well thee turbo I just got is 64 on the compressor side and 63 on the turbine side.. so there is alot of room to grow.

The smaller one seems to be what i am leaning twards as I am still on the stock bottom end... so HP wil not be very high. If anyone has any pics please post more up of what you have

I can't find my patch cord to download the pics of the engine bay. As soon as I get the cord I'll send pics.

yes it does help damatically. everything in the engine bay is getting heat soaked so, your engine temps warm up. plus, this also helps to promote detonation . If I were you, i would atleast therma wrap it until you have the funds to jetcoat it aswell. Hopefully that mani is well built.
