low throttle studdering....?
Whenever i have my throttle open very lightly, like just to maintain freeway speed, the car studders. It only happens on light throttle and it has been getting worse for about 2 weeks. I have the Skunk2 program on my b17 ecu, maybe some other ppl have had fuel mapping problems? I am short on cash so i need advice from people who know what is happening. I could replace the fuel filter (~10k miles) and spark plugs (~9k miles) but i am skeptical that they are the problem, and again, $$ is an issue. It COULD be the fuel pump, but that would affect the whole fuel range because pressure would be inconsistent. Thanks...I am trying to get this fixed asap.
Also, is it possible that hte O2 sensor is making this problem?
Here are my thoughts that it could be..:
- O2 sensor
- Injectors
- spark plugs
- fuel pump
- fuel filter
thanks for any help...

I ALSO THINK IT IS IGNITION, I HAVE EVEN HERD OF THE ROTOR ON THE DISTRIBUTOR , NOT BEING TIGHT. . . CAUSING IT TO SPIN FREELY. IT DON'T COST TO LOOK. PLUG UP ANOTHER ECU IF YOU HAVE ACCESS.
Pull out the plugs, take a look at them and see what color they are. The porcelain should generally be a light grey or tan color.
