I have a 96 civic, and I want to buy a front grille like on the 99-00 si. My question is can I go to Honda and buy just the mesh part of the grille and swap it with my center piece that has the H emblem on it? Will it bolt together, if not what needs to be done to make it fit? I would like to see if this is possible before I go and but one for $150+.

ebay has knock offs for like $40 shipped for 96-98

 

the 99-00 grille's are wider.. so you'll have to buy an aftermarket for oem 96-98 ctr

 

just get a aftermarkert one..i've got one...i have the whole Si conversion on my EJ8....everybody thinks its a Si..haha....
