It grounds out the car so that there is less charge in the body or frame of the car. So you dont get shocked getting in our out of the car.

you serious? that **** actually does somehign... where can I get one? i keep getting shocked and my car is not grounded properly due to my rpms jumping

I can see it now, all the JDM ricers with the JDM grounding cable hanging off the back of their cars. OMG

 

dont know how well they work, but A LOT of cars in asia has them. they're suppose to ground the body so you dont get shocked

thier primary application in the US in vehicles containing compressed air or gas such as firetrucks, chemical/gas trucks, and ambulances. It is so the vehicle can be grounded and if there is a surge of some sort the gases will not combust.

So yea be jdm like all those ambulances and industrial trucks. Yea that would be cool... Seriously if you have this kind of time and money to waste on usless car stuff you need to find another hobby, because you have taken it too far
