wtf is a Civic SE?? my buddy is lookin at one today at a stealership and neither the dealer or us could determine what it meant and how special they are lol.. ..

anyways.. ... my main question wat did the SE mean?? and did the car have 4 wheel discs with no abs? or drum brakes when it came from the factory ?? the car right now already has 4 disc brakes but we need to know if this has been swapped from drum to disc rears.. he doesnt want anytype of frankensteinish cars.. he wants it all OEM.

i have an Se, its not special edition. i have no ABS and Drums in the back. ABS might have been an option though.

 

I think SE is the most basic model for a civic

 

its an ej6 by the way, same as dx basically

 

what year is it? if its 2001 and up then it could have 4 disc breaks if it 96-2000 then its 2 front discs and 2 rear drums.

Did a quick google search. It was the model before the current one. The VP is the one that is basically a DX with AC and power locks.

 

I think it also gets the same "red/clear" tails like the canadian sir.

 

listen i own and drive an se, there is no spoiler, or leather wrapped steering wheel. he also lives in canada. he is prolly looking at an 01 or greater model if it has rear disks, or it has been swapped in. se and special edition are 2 seperate models. my car has A/C power locks, non power windows, no ABS, and no clear tail lights.
