90' Prelude needs help
Jumping right into the story..... the timing broke, bent my valves and I ended up with a new "used" engine. Ever since I got the car back from the mechanics (my uncle, so I trust them) it has been having problems. I turned on the car (it's a manual) and it stalled. I started it again, and it was fine. I started driving it down the road when all the sudden the RPM's started jumping all over the place. Pretty soon, it dropped down to zero, (while I was in 5th gear going approx. 55) and the car lost tremendous power. I took it to the mechanics and they fixed the main fuel line, which had a major leak, and all seemed fine. I took it home, and then when I got back in the car to leave, it wouldn't start. I had it towed to the shop, they fixed a coil, and then I got it back yesterday. Today I drove the car to the store, and on the way the RPM's dropped to zero while in 4th gear and kept jumping (unnaturally high very fast). I stopped at a redlight and the car stalled and it took a while before I could get the car to start. (and I drove it back home where it sits now)
The problem is, every time I take it to be fixed, the mechanics find some thing to replace that needs it any ways, fix that, and the real problem with the RPM's and the stalling is left unfixed. Does any one know what could be causing this so I can tell the mechanics what to do, because obviously they don't really know what they're doing...
PLEASE HELP

i really dont have an answer for you . but you may want to check your wiring to make sure everything is attached securely, double check the ignition, make sure all the grounds are secure, check all hoses and lines for any damage. also posting your problem on HondaPrelude.com wouldnt be a bad idea.
