Default a question about swapping transmission gears

I recently did a d16a6 swap into my wife's 95 CX, using a used 92-95 Si transmission. What sucks though is the transmission we bought is already making noise (seems to be input shaft, but im not sure) and the gearing really isnt that good anyways, compared to the 88-91 Si transmissions IMO. Im getting ready to swap another Si tranny into my 89 CRX Si, my tranny has a bad input shaft bearing.

My question is, I have a spare 95 CX tranny and a spare 89 Si tranny, can I pull the gears from the 89 Si tranny and put them in the CX tranny? If its not a straight swap what do I need to change? My wife loves the gearing in my CRX, so I want to see if I can swap them into the CX tranny so she will stop bitching. Thanks in advance guys.

i did the same thing in my 86 accord. I put 89 integra gearing in it. My trannies were both cable. One of yours is cable and one is hydro. I dont know if it will work or not. Ill look around and see if i can find something for a spline count between the two.
