ok guys heres the deal I've got a wrecked 2000 type R and a 97 civic hatch what do i need to put the type r engine in the civic?
Also can I just swap over all the type r suspension, sway bars, brakes, front and rear control arms, and everything else or do i need some thing special?

Thanks for all the help I think I need a Haspot kit and I don't think the sway bars will work let me know if this is wrong.

 

you'll need a motor mount kit such as hasport, chipped ecu since the 2000 type r ecu wont plug into your 97 civic, suspension/brakes should fit, rear lower control arms should fit as well

 

From my understang i will also need a ex wiring harness and some diffrent fuel stuff not real sure.

On a scale of 1-10 how hard would you guys rate this swap?

 

take the type r's vtec wiring and wire it up to your civic's wiring harness

OK so if I want to convert to obd1 i need a civic ex ecu and a obd1 conversion harness?

I was also thinking about getting a ecu witha hondata from king I'm trying to make this as bolt in as possible.

I'm trying to confirm that all i need is a ex harness and splice a few wires and im on a running is this correct
