Default d16z6

hi all im new but have read meny topic's here, and have some questions. i might have a chance to buy a d16 motor, its been rained on a little and its been sitting out side. the reason the motor was pulled out of the car was somthing with the vtec when whack and some how sized the cam (oil isue?) , in witch bent some valves. i dont know if there is any damage done to the pistons or the valve seats. im more likely to just buy the head and fix it and do a mini-me swap on a d15a2 motor.

it dosn't have the cam and the rocker arms are out, so i checked the cam seats( think thats what there called, where the cam sits on the head) and didn't feel any groves. it also dosn't have a flywheel, crank pully, intake manifold or exhost
header so all thoses things and more like TB, fuel rail, header and so on ill have to buy some were.

i dont know what they want for it my, auto teacher said to talk to him about it tomarow (spelling!!) about it.

what would you guys say would be a resonable amout for this motor in this type of condition?

thank you , D-rue

Personally I wouldnt touch that engine
I suggest you buy something thats already running. If the valves bent, the rods and rod bearings probably took a big hit and that`s not good for the engines reliability
