seems like the civic is running really rich, i smell gas all the time but i dont see any leaks.


I think my o2 sensor is the wrong one, the kid i bought it off of gave me a one wire o2 sensor and said this is the right o2, but i looked at the o2 on the header today and its a 4wire. and it plugs into the wire harness.


what should i look at next? plugs?

 

yea do a tune up onn the car. and go from there. are there any cels? and what motor, and year car.. Also check the timing...

 

So i talked to the kid i bought it off of, he said i HAVE to change the o2 sensor.

my qusetion is how do i find out what wire on the 4 wire plug is the wire that the ECU reads off of? so i can just tap into that for the 1 wire???
