Are you allowed to chagne the front bumper to a diffrent design in H1
"Hood, trunk, Rear hatchback, bumper supports, and the front bumper cover may have material removed or replaced with a substitute of unrestricted material"
"The rear bumper cover may be replaced with a cover of alternat material and design"
This question is for my buddy who is building a H1 civic for socal HC
I thought I'd pass it on to those who know the rules bettr than me.
The rules say you can use a rear bumper of a diffrent design but not the front of diffrent design. so I'm assusming you can't run body kits or diffrent sideskirts is this correct?
Also how bout vented hoods? the rules say you can use a diffrent material but not design thats were we are confused.
And do you guys think there is any Aerodynamic advantage to a body kit compared to a splitter like is normally run? the body kit my buddy is asking about is a c-west (if that matters) on a civic. he asking because the kits already on it and wants to know if he will have to chage it back to stock or if he can just leave it.
Thanks alot guys
I've tryed searching but can't fid anything under bodykit or aero relating to H1

I don't think it was legal. That doesn't mean he didn't run it and that doesn't mean anyone protested, but by the book it wasn't legal.

it is legal to run body kits in H1 on non-limited prep cars.

IIRC the rear part was added in at a later date, or changed. I'd have to go look at the different year rule books to remeber.

It just doesn't read that way to me it sounds like he can add material to the stock one but not use a whole diffrent bumper.

OK you know better than me thanks alot man my friend will be happy
