Default instaling Arp rod bolts with block in?

Going ls vtec,B18a, but i want to keep the botom end stock for now, the rebuild later. the only thing i want to do is replace the rod bolts with arp bolts. Can i do this with just droping the oil pan? or do i have to take the rods out? i was just thinking take out the old and change for the new. is this possible? THANKS

I don't think that's possible as the stock rod bolts have to be pressed out.

yah you would have a hell of a time trying to do it with the rods in the block.. you should also have the big-ends of the rods resized to ensure proper bearing crush.
