Default why would my low comp motor bogg out @ 4k (even when boosted)???

i just rebuilt my dohc zc with eagle rods, srp pistons, arp headbolts, delta cams(re-grinds) jg cam gears, new valves springs and retainers and brand new oem gaskets/seals......when i 1st drove it home (n/a) the car would bogg down when every i hit 4k rpm's, i didnt wanna go past 4k(once it bogged down) because it's a fresh re-build....someone told me it was because my compression was so low (and when i turbo'd the car (again) it well have the power back)

for the time being i threw my old t-25 back on, and it still bogg's at 4k, today i revved past 4k and it felt like a lil more power(till a coupler came off).........so why would my motor still feel that way with boost? oh and the only code im throwing is #10 i.a.t.

right now i have a base map (i need to get it tuned) made by xenocron, the map was made for the same turbo set-up im running now(except now i have an intercooler) and a built motor, i never had the bogging issue when the motor was stock

Well 21* sounds a little too high as for base timing. Not sure on what it is for a zc but if 21* is the wrong base then it is throwing EVERYTHING off in the HI/LO map. What you need to do is (ex: say ur base timing was 16*) highlight both the IGN maps in the editor and subtract 5* from the whole matrix of numbers. This will make the timing per load/rpm spark just where it is supposed to. Also check your mechanical timing to make sure everything is set right.

try and check you cam timing marks again. It sounds like your cam timing is off

I also think that if you can't get good timing on your dizzy... the cam timing is off. Double check your timing belt.

Also... low comp won't cause a bog... I'm at like 8.5-8.7:1 and no bogging... but thats also with more than just a basemap.
