word.

he's right i have a friend with these cams and stock type r vavletrain and i keep telling him he needs to upgrade it before he floats every vavle in the head by turning it 9k+ it's cheaper to wait and buy the vavletrain then to fix your head and buy new vavles.

I've seen this twice. My own experience was a worn out set of lobe pads in less than 1500 miles. The other person dropped a valve in less than a days time.

Don't do it.

Portflow springs and retainers. Stock valves are fine, but if they are 8 years old or older, new valves would be a good idea.

Hhmm I hear to run those cams also you would need higher compression..anywhere from 11.6 to 12.1 anyway I have a 12 compression lsvtec yes with stock new gsr valvetrain...still bad to run these cams for my setup??...and why is it I hear a bunch of people run stage 2 cams on stock valvetrain and have no problems??

When you click the reply button, the window comes up where you type your post and it has the thread review in reverse order. To the right, you'll see a "Quote" button next to posts. Click this button to quote the post lol as I just did for yours.

RM Gen 2's means Rocket Motorsports Generation 2 valvesprings, they are often preferred over the gen 1's because the gen 1's have a really high seat pressure I believe (correct if wrong please).

Send a personal message to Honda-Tech user "Aquafina" for more info. I really hope you know how to do this.

Of course he has to be a dick about it, it's Honda-Tech.

Don't take it to personal though, clean rice seems a bit ornery at times, but he also appears very knowledgable, take his advice.

well, i was asking for a friends, but also for myself as well because he was going to put it in his gsr with stock valve, so i figure i ask for him just for his cause. I was going to do a mild NA setup in the future and would just like to know some info about it.
