i found a great deal on a 99 cx hatchback, i am pretty sure it is a base model, but what kind of potential could it have for a tuner. Is the wiring compatible with b16 (which obd?) and what other things should i be aware of before i pick this up. (roll up windows, no power steering, no a/c, etc...) thanks for any info as i can not search "CX"

 

alot of potential, depending on how deep your pocket is
swap a y8 head, swap a b-series, turbo
your car is obd2b
just make sure everything looks good b4 you buy

 

like stated before its obd2b, roll up windows, no p/s (but you'd be suprised how easy it is to turn, just not when moving) it has a/c...i love my 99 CX and thats coming from someone thats had an EX & a Prelude

 

are 96-98 cars obd2 also?

 

96-98 cars are OBD2A

 

make sure you do a carfax history report.
