Ok, so I just installed my sidemarkers, and i want them to be able to stay on with the parking lights, AND flash with the blinkers...is this possible?

 

Wire to the turn signals.

 

i wired mines to the turn signals...it stays on when i turn on my corners ...i think u might be able to wire it to ur fuse box so when u turn ur lights on they will turn on.

 

I did wire mine to the turn signals...I left the black to black, but hten I tried the red to red, and they just stayed on constant, with no flash, and then I did red to green, and they dont come on with the parking lights, they just flash...so if anyone else has some more insight...it will be helpful

 

do you have three wires coming out of your headlight harness? I thought that if you wanted to have them come on with the parking lights/headlights and still have them blink then you needed that three wire harness.

I could be wrong but....just tryin to help out though.

my blinker is a 3 wire harness, my side marker is a 2 wire harness...I tried doing the 2 reds and green together, they came on with the parking lights, but the blinker didnt even work, let alone the side marker...

 

I thought with sidemarkers it was either or...not both...but I could be wrong as well!

Ive been told that too, so I dont know...

 

I'll look at my wiring for my sidemarkers. My side markers have a 2 wire harness and my head lights are the 3 wire.....so i'll let you know friday.

 

It won't be fun to wire that up... I would just have them blink. If you're trying to be JDM (which I'm assuming by the mod), I would just stick to that same wiring. It's easier too.

thats what I have it at right now, Im just gonna leave it...

 

If you did want to have both you just need to hook up a relay. Here is a link for some taillights, same procedure if you change your mind.
