2 12' jl w6v2 and zapco 1100.1 amp
I just got done hooking up my system 2 12' jlw6v2 with a zapco 1100.1 amp and a alpine 7998 headunit. I was wondering whats the best way to wire up the subs with the zapco 1100.1 amp? Right now the bass hits really hard but i want the low bass sound. Is there any way or anywhere i can adjust on the amp or headunit to make the bass sound low instead of hard hitting?

Its all in the box that you have and the tunning, What box are you running and how is it built? Also what hz do you have your amp tunned too?
the box came with the subs when i bought it, its a ported box. As for the hz i've heard people talk about that a lot how do i find out where mine is set at?
If there are adjustments on the amp for frequency levels trun the one for the htz as low as possible so the subs will play low frequencys. hence, lower bass. And if you still don't like it sell one of those dub 6's to me
Who built the box for you?
There is a big formula to figure out the tuning of the box,but to complicated to explain.
You could play testtones and see where your box plays the loudest at to sorta get a guesstimite on it.
Good Luck with that. I had the same subs in a JL HO box and they pounded good choice on subs.

Other then gain, no other adjustments are made on the amp, it should be set to run full range, all adjustments are made on the HU, they are all built in, x-overs, EQ, time alignment, sub on/off, sub output, [srereo/mono], bass focus, and others.
If you have a CD burner see page 34 "i Personalize"
