Default Autometer Tach with no instructions. How do I install this thing?

I just got an Autometer tach w/ shift light, but it has no instructions. I was wondering if anyone new how to install this in a 94 civic B16A. If so, could you please help me out.

ok there are 4 wires on the tach
black is for ground
red is for power ignition lead
white is for the light when you turn on your lights
green goes to distributor

Sorry, but I am no electrician and I don't understand how to do it with what you just wrote. Is there anyway to get a real instruction manual or a diagram of some sort?

Black wire is a ground wire.
Red wire is for ignition lead -or- 12V constant.
White wire is for lighting at night.
Green wire goes to your distributor.

Even if you do get instructions, they're going to tell you to do the exact same thing. I believe the Autometer instructions are universal anyway ...so you won't get a car-specific diagram.

There are thses little connectors on the end of my wires, should I cut those and splice the wire to the other ones or what?
