Any one else have a SPEC clutch?
I just put mine on and it feels real weird, like its real easy to press and its not aggressive at all. I mean it might have a total of 10 miles on it, but i figured for a STAGE 3, it would be different. How does your SPEC feel? btw its the same stock flywheel. But i drove my girlfriends new car (1999 mitsu eclipse gst with a ACT 2600) and its definately different.
I had a spec stage 3. it's all in pieces now. It felt stock and didnt seem all that aggressive. There's tons of bad threads all over the internet about these clutch.
1 week ago, the clutch felt weird when it engauged. It also locked me out of gears. I had to force it into gears just to get moving, then it went away. I thought it was low tranny fluid. then two days ago, it made a sound like the throwout bearing went out. I drop the tranny today and the springs al fell out. yep, clutch is in pieces.

i have been running a stage 5 for a while now with no problems and have sold many stage 3.the stage three feels alot like stock because it has sprung disc, butit holds very good.the stage 5 is very aggresive and will hold alot of power.i just got heir new twin disc, but haven't used it yet
I've had and heard of pretty chitty experiences with SPEC cust serv but the technical issues weren't with Honda/Acura applications so take it for what it's worth. It was your average "we refuse to recognize and/or fix the issue but we definetely know the **** sucks but won't let on until after you buy it"
i had a shitty experience with my spec stage 2 clutch
claimed to hold 275 lbs of torque.... mine slipped at under 200 lbs.
also it would overheat all the time and barely grab, so I could have to cool the car down for a while.
now I have a competition clutch stage 4 which is 100 times better. it holds over 270 lbs of tq on my d series and does not overheat and slip!
I also drive my car with this clutch everyday, and it engages very similiar to the spec stage 2 i had
