Default Problems with CM Stage 4

I bought the CM stage 4 and used a centerforce 13 lb flywheel on my gsr tranny. I am using good fluids and i think i have bled the clutch enough. The stock feel of the clutch was a concern but other people told me theirs felt stock also. My other concern is that the clutch doesnt engage until late. Other people using this clutch told me that it engaged early. What are some opinions on why it is engaging so late and why it feels just like stock?

Anybody have any opinions or clues to why this is. Its gotta be installed right considering I have raced it on 6 lbs and it holds perfect. Thanks

My CM stage 4 clutch feels like stock, but biting point is very short.. pushing my foot on the clutch by less than 1cm is the difference from the clutch not grabbing to fully grabbing. It can be a bitch, because if you're not used to it, you'll be stalling your engine all the time People are always looking at me coz I have to rev the engine a little in order to take off smoothly..

The reason it catches high is because the disc doesn't have the marcel "flat spring" This will cause the engagement to be a little higher than with a stock disc. You should be cool though.

there is an adjustment under the dash which allows you to change when it releases(on the floor or at the top), but not able to adjust quickness. I have mine disengage at the top of the peddle(sp?), that way I just gotta tap it instead of pushing it all the way to the floor.

Did you break in the clutch 500 miles? If so, the clutch will grab good and might chatter a bit. Mine feels like stock and im using a stage 3 PP and type R flywheel.
