hey, i was just wondering if there are any side affects to just running an air filter on your car. like i have a d16y7 and i have an air box and today jus for kicks i took off the air box and just left the filter sitting there... it was pretty well fitted so i didnt have to worry bout it falling off. i was wondering is there something wrong with doing this... i know u have change your filter quicker but is there any other side effects... please any info would be great. thanks in advance

Make sure that filter doesnt come loose..... If it does and dirt is sucked in, ur F**ked.

Replace that panel filter with a high air flow(mugen or spoon) Panel filter, Id put the case back on to be safe, and use ur bumper space to fit cold air feeds

it'll get dirty faster, so you'll have to replace it more often.
