Question on vehicle purchase
Hi all...i am new here so whats up im rob...im into imports (obviously).
I have a question...Im looking at a 00' Civic SI with light mods...it has 100,000 Miles on it...and he wants 7900...it seems to shift well...and the car runs pretty good...my question is do any of the rest of you own one? and is it worth it with such high mileage?

that's not a bad price. Search around and see what similar vehicles are going for. If you have the cash lying around might be better to pick up something cheaper and then swap whatever motor you want.

yea...i thought about buying a GSR shell and droppin a JDM B18c in it...but i kind of need the car now as im moving back to virginia.... the other good thing about the car is it comes with a 3 month 4500 mile warranty.

here is a side shot of the actual car...its very clean and im diggin the rims...also it has greddy intake mani, skunk 2 exhaust, aem CAI, and some other light mods...

the first thing that you need to purchase when you acquire the vehicle is some suspension, or at least some decent lowering springs. That thing looks ready to off-road.

Good cost, take it and run. Make sure that it pass' inspection. It looks in good condition and it doesn't really have that many miles on it. Run with it.

IMO 100k isn't really that much on a Honda.
I'd get it, and then later-on down the road when you get the itch to start building it, swap in a gsr block. Switch anything out w/ wear and tear while your in there, and soon miles won't matter.
