Default **Help**, Looking for DIY link to make my "Si" emblem in the gauge cluster light up.....**

I searched a bunch of times here and ClubSi.com for the answer, But nothing came up.

I'm looking for the page that explains how to make your 99-00 Civic Si cluster Emblem to glow red at night.

I am not sure if there is a need to completely take apart the gauge cluster including needles, Or if there's an easier way.

Pics would help or maybe some of you can share your experiance with this mod

Thanks in advance

-Jeff

actually, u could tap into the ECU and make it light up only when VTEC engages. I think that'd be tight as hell! Im not trying to be sarcastic, i really thing that'd be sweet.

it cant do that, if you read the post in the link it just sands the black paint off the back so light shines through the SI logo. there is no light to wired up to vtec

there is a DIY that i saw a while ago about how to wire a light to when VTEC engages. Some del sol DIY website...dont have the link sry. its basically tapping into the ECU and running wires to an LED and grounding it.

They have that horn activator when VTEC is engaged as well so I suppose they run off the same ECU tap?
