Loose nut behind the wheel?
You should do compression and leakdown to check the condition of the motor, as well as inspect all of the normal things : spark plugs, distributor cap, plug wires, air filter, fuel filter, etc.

How badly was the valve bent? I agree on a cylinder leakage test to start...

did you make sure that it didn't crack the guide? I would suggest a compression test or leakdown test....

Did you have the valve and seat ground to fit, or just put it in? Did you check all of the valves for straigtness and proper seating (regrinding as necessary)? You replaced the headgasket and timing belt with new parts, right?

most wheels have multiple nuts, but what b19coupe was refering to was the single nut behind the wheel...LOL......and no, not many civic's have centerlock wheels.
