Changing Clutch - Need Advise
I'm getting Exedy Organic Race Clutch Stage 1 put in. Should I change the Clutch Master and Slave cylinder while I'm at it or is it not needed? I have 96 GSR 4dr with about 150k miles on it.
if it's the stock clutch master and slave then i would suggest yes. you don't want to go down there and do all that work, to wind up having to go down there again in another 5K miles.
My suggestion, do it

I was under the impression you do not have to remove the tranny to get to the slave cylinder, although I could stand corrected, but I thought it was located in the engine bay. Can't remember the exact location though. I'm assuming right above the tranny with a "nipple" attached to it so you can bleed the clutch.
with a stage 1 clutch u should have nothing 2 worrk about, Those things are replaced as needed so your fine. And your right u dont have to take the tranny out to replace a clutch master cyclender, to tell you the truth it takes longer to bleen the clutch system than to replace the master cyclender
