hey guys i am rebuilding a ls vtec motor that went wrong... i spent 2200 on an ls vtec w/ type r pistons lightened flywheel 99 gsr head header 2000 gsr tranny cam gears and type r clutch with type r water pump and type r oil pump and one of the cylinder walls cracked so i am rebuilding it.. here is my setup tell me what yall think
cracked block will get a new one b18a or b18b
3 type r pistons one is dimolished
the lightened flywheel and clutch
stock crank
arp rod bolts
the head was beat up a lil bit just on the cylinder that went crazy hoping i can have it fixed (gsr head)
gsr tranny
i know i will need a new block, pistons, crank resurfaced and balanced, new bearings... probably some head work
anyone got any suggestions for the build it will be n/a hoping to hit low 13s with full interior the car was running 12:1 compression i wanna go down to like 11:1 but i still wanna make alot of power unless 12:1 will be safe to drive every day let me know what yall think thanks alot
