just installed a new AEM short ram intake. sounds pretty nice when i hit vtec. anyways when i let off the gas to shift i hear a very light psh noise, and i also hear that same noise when im going slow and turn the streering wheel for instance when i back out of a parking space. are these sounds normal?

Yeah, it's just a little rush of air being sucked in when you first hit the gas. I actually found it quite a nice little noise. Though I wish there was a turbo there, the BOV's sound better

 

yea i know like u can hear the little rush of air being sucked in when u hit the gas but its when i let off the gas to shift i hear a tiny psh

Maybe you have a turbo that you don't know about? lol... Nah, I have no idea about the letting off the gas thing.

 

could possibly be a vaccum leak check all your connections again
