Default koni install oops's

well i just attempted my first ever spring/shock install, i have a couple of questions for ya'll. First off when i put my shock/spring assembly back in on the front drivers side there wasn't any room for one of hte brake lines on the mounting, is it ok to leave it off if the other one is secure? also i don't know how im supposed to torque the nut on the end of the shaft or w/e. it says 22 ft lbs but you have to hold the center part to tighten it, right? how am i supposed to get a socket around it?

the top of the shaft has a hex key hole in it, the koni may or may not, i know the stock one does....

use a special socket (box end will work) and a tq wrench, then hold the shaft wit the hex key...

The brake lines aren't lined up, cause you didn't mark the position the strut should've been at, just move the strut until you line it up, or as much as you can, my right front isn't lined up only one of the two brake line screws is bolted, that's because i was in a hurry.

i think i got it all figured out..i just kinda felt with my torque wrench on something else what 22 ft lbs felt like and then tried my best to get it to that on the shock.
