will this filter hurt performance on my 35R

Default will this filter hurt performance on my 35R

I recently bought a GT35R .63 a/r. Now i dont have a lot of room and basically i can run this size filter


not my car

i found a few 4" k&n filters heres some specs

Shape: Conical
Length (in): 5
Inlet Flange Inside Diameter (in): 4.00
Top Diameter (in): 4.50
Bottom Diameter (in): 5.375
----------
Length (in): 5
Inlet Flange Inside Diameter (in): 4.00
Top Diameter (in): 4.375
Bottom Diameter (in): 5.375

Shape: Conical
Length (in): 3 1/2
Inlet Flange Inside Diameter (in): 4.00
Top Diameter (in): 4.375
Bottom Diameter (in): 4.375

Shape: Round straight
Length (in): 6.000
Inlet Flange Inside Diameter (in): 4.00
Top Diameter (in): 7.00
Bottom Diameter (in): 7.000


you guys think it will affect performance a lot. Should i run without a filter at the track. I might try on the dyno and see if it makes a diff... I plan on running around 20-24psi

expensive turbo vs cheap k&n filter.......id think id rather save the turbo.....also, i would never run without a filter, u never know what could get sucked up in there, even a tiny rock would do some damage

where did you get cheap k&n from..... Of corse in not going to run without a filter..

I think I have this one on my turbo. It might be 5", not sure. But I didn't notice a difference when I put it on. I was running some mesh a few days before I could get to a jegs and get a filter.

Had the same filter on a car I helped with. Went to the dyno with Mase. Pulled 6whp peak without the filter. Is it worth it? Hell yes.
