Default short shifters

can someone clarify to me what the difference is between a short THROW shifter and a short shifter. also can u explain the single and dual bend concept of the damn thing. thanks.

a short throw shortens the length of how far you have to go to shift, a short shifter just makes the shifter shorter, lower to the ground. but the distance traveling to each shift stays the same.
Correct me if Im wrong, but I think thats right.
the dual bend just puts the shifter closer to you

as far as i know, people just call them different things..they are all short throw shifters, some people shorten the name and call them short shifters...

single bend has one bend and a dual bend has 2 bends in it..no real concept to that one

I have one. It is a very short throw from a stock one. I had to get used to it. But yeah, everything was summed up in nickG's post.
