door light problem... just very annoying

door light problem... just very annoying
For some reason when it's really cold outside the light on the meters for the passanger door turns on showing that it is open. When i pull the door towards me while I'm sitting in the driving seat, the light turns off. As a result, this flippin light flickers on and off as i drive and annoys the heck outta me. Any ideas on how to fix it??

my friend told me to adjust the door latch so i unscrewed it then screwed it back in and bam.... it is fixed. No mo' annoying lights
My friend said he had this happen several times to his honda.
Do a lot of other honda owners experience this problem as well?

ive never had that happen, nor have i known anyone whos had that happen...
