Y8 internals in a Z6 head? Are you CrAzY!!!! That thing will spontaneously combust the second manifold absolute pressure goes above 0 EVERYone knows that.

so its a bad idea on that setup. everything is pretty much d16y8. just that the head allumi its self is d16z6.

This is incorrect, a Y8 manifold will work on a z6 HEAD.

The y8 intake mani will work on the z6. It's sometimes referred to as the type r of the d-series intake mani's... Someone just did a write up on it recently. I'll see if I can find it. BTW the intake mani attaches to the head not block.

the d15b JDM sohc VTEC is said to be hondas finest sohc engine. boost that. the head is supposed to carry a more aggressive cam than all others also. that's what i will be doing.

high compression is bad for boost, hence the b18c5 is bad for boost, unless your going to run 5psi on a gooooooood tune.

i dont understand why you would wanna go the the trouble rebuilding a D series with oem internals... Or B series unless its NA.

Buy a d16z6 and boost that. As for boosting z6 vs d15b Who cares? they are all going to limited by the ringlads or rods anyways.

You have knowledge of the garbage spewing from your mouth by any chance?

I wouldn't waste my time with that engine... Having driven both the D15B and the D16Z6, I can tell you the 15B is a dog.

I'm sorry? Are you high? Maybe making LESS power is your goal.
