i saw this guy at a local autox that had fully polished his tranny, block, head, and intake manifold..by hand...

the aluminum paint looks great and is meant for the blocks and holds up without any problems and ive done my last block with it but on my new motor im going bronze/dark gold ....i just hope it holds up just as good. should be done in a few weeks.

haha. thats my motor and trans. no chipping or cracking yet. but its winter, so we'll see how it looks once the weather breaks after all that salt and crap.
i used paint i got from my local machine shop called "stainless steel" for the block
and trans was done in normal VHT gray.

if you use the right paint it will hold up for a long time. thats why they make special block paint and primer. domestic guy's have been painting there blocks since the early day's of hot rodding.
