compression question asap
ok i did a compression test and from the front of the motor (t belt) 185,o,185,185psi. what would cause this and what could it be? need valve ajusted? or bent valve? thank you
Make sure if your using a rubber hose type tester( some are just one straight metal piece ) to snug up the connections after every cyl test. Mine does that ****.

maybe he forgot to put a piston in ?

most likely...i mean he didnt say anything about the car running bad. obviously with 0 psi it would be running like hell.

It would have ran, not that bad though. It'll be like taking a spark plug wire off........mine popped out before - it just depends on which cylinder is out.......you'll definately notice the difference though -but it would run. Ooooh, when cylinder 1 is out, it sucks ball sacks.

Yeah but when you take a spark plug wire out, there would still be some compression in that combustion chamber, opposed to 0 psi compression.
It actually is starting to sound like you forgot to put a piston in somewhere.

my brothers name is corey frenzel but i am the one with the lude. it runs! like ****. see the problem is i did a t-belt change and when i was done this is what i got i dont know what happend. i know the piston is there. but i dont know why i wouldnt have any compression. the 4 rockers for that cylander are loose. what could it be? thank you guys
thats a bent/stuck valve. i would guess when you put the head back on and were rotating the motor to line up all your timing marks that you made some piston to valve contact somewhere and bent a valve. its best to line up the cam gears and crank close to where they need to be before you drop the head on.
