do you have a 99-00 SI???
With this wonderful winter blend of gasoline.........what kind of mileage are ya'll see'n? I'm gett'n to about 270 miles a tank vs the 320 in summer. Average fill up would be about 10.5-11 gallons.
i'm changing whatever plugs are in my car to NGK's and see if it helps at all........i bought my car with 41k on it and i've now got 98k and i know nothing about the plugs that are in it..............possibly factory but i don't know. i had a NASTY air filter and now have a new one on the passwordjdm whale ***** but winter hit before i could see any difference in that, o well
Usually 225... I shift at around 3.5k rpm dont really notice a difference between summer and winter. Driving in the city sucks though theres a lotta stop an go.

Almost all of my driving is highway, I cruise at either 70 or 75. During the summer I averaged around 32 but this winter has been upper 20s. My last tank I got 25mpg which sucked. My car does need a major tune-up though...

It's winter, expect up to 25% loss in millage. It's more than just a few winter additives.
the air is denser, more drag.
winter tires are softer and cause more friction.
traffic is slower in winter due to storms and thus your burn more gas.
it takes longer for your car to reach operating temp and thus it's fuel efficient zone.
snow on the ground causes more tire friction
if it's cold you are more likely to wait in line at the drive-thru.
the list goes on and on. There is nothing you can do about it nor is there anything wrong with your car.

no my car is fine, i was just wondering how much difference everyone is see'n...........265k miles, on a 99-00?? thats the most i've ever heard if so
one thing about our engines is i notice i get best mileage shifting around 4k......i used to shift 3k but made no difference. i would vtec through 3rd maybe 2-3 times per tank and now i vtec prob 20-30 per tank but in spurts (like one gear or just downshift into vtec, not ragging) and guess what, my mileage did NOT drop........so thsoe who may be worreid of vtec vs mpg, just take a tank, vtec when ever you want and see what you get, makes no diff on mine
