h22 motors are varly cheep compaired to k series motors they are about 2500 i think on hmotorsonline.com the mounts iam not shure how much they are, but hassport makes the kit. this swap is insane my friend has a h22 swap in his 93 coupe it ran a 13.4 on slicks.
(its not a stock h22)

make those axels/swap more expensive.

H22 full swap aprox $2600 (3600 for type S)
Mounts $500
Axels $500 +/-
Misc 800 +/-

better advice?

H22 Longblock $1200
H2B Kit $900
B series Trans $400 +/-
B series mounts $3-450 depending on chasis
B series axels $150 +/-
B series linkage $100 +/-
ECU/EMS $150+
Misc $6-800 +/-

cheaper, quicker, less work, no custom axel crap.

PS: Hybrid forum.

I think I paird around 3500 for everything i needed, hasport mounts, raxle axles, conversion harness, etc. It was well worht every penny and i had money left over to get a sick header and a tune.

Have you ran it at a track yet? any times? and is it really worth it. Also i believe im gonna do the H2B thing in time, but not as soon as i get it. Limited budget

why bother cutting your car up when you just gonna put it back later. you can run an H2b for about the same price and start off with a stronger trans.

if you do h2b, you want to do it when you swap. the h22 tranny forces you to cut a bracket on the frame rail that holds the tranny mount, and you have to cut a hole for the shift cables in the car too. You don't have to do this for the H2B, and if you're taking out the H22 tranny later for a b tranny, you'll have to weld a new bracket to the frame rail, and weld an piece of metal back in the car for the shifter hole. Either do it when you swap, or you won't do it at all.

BTW, my H22 swap = $4k with HCP mounts, DSS axles, LSD tranny, clutch and flywheel.
