Default 92 h22a iab/knock sensor help

My car is a 94 accord lx if that information is needed.

I need info on location of the iab sensor on an 92 JDM H22A. I know that I'm suppose to add the IAB wire and pin it to ECU from one end but i'm confused on where to connect the connector to the iab sensor on the other end. I was told it was located on a lil black box in back of the intake manifold but mines didn't come with that. I have one sensor left that i haven't been plugged up which is the picture below. Its that black thingy location between IM and fuel rail

As for the knock sensor(red/blue wire). As you can see from the picture below. There's a wire coming from it connecting to 2 other wires. Do I need those too or do i just skrew it and cut them out?

that extra think you have in the first picture, you can remove that, and hook the fpr directly to the intake manifold instead.

the IAB canister is located under the IM, those are usually destroyed in shipping so probably why you dont have one. you can either hook that IAB plunger (the gold round thing with the vac nipple) directly to the intake manifold with a vac tube, or you can go and purchase the IAB canister and control solenoid for it.

i actually know of someone selling a complete iab setup, if you want the contact info let me know.

lastly that knock sensor wire i am not sure what you are talkin about? are you talking about the silver shielding wire? if so, u should leave that connected to the other shielding wires as it acts like a ground for the shielding.

Like Eddiebx said, the black box is located under the intake manifold. The black box is a vacuum tank and it has a sensor mounted on it. Thats where you need to hook up to. Here is a picture for reference. Part #12 is the vacuum tank and part #10 is the sensor.

You can buy those from Honda but they are going to cost like 25 I think for the vacuum tank and another 110 for the sensor I believe. I was going to go that route since I didn't get one for my H23A1 intake manifold, but I ended up finding a member here on H-T selling the vacuum tank and sensor for a good price.

I have heard of people hooking the IAB diaphram assembly to the intake manifold but I've also been told it won't function as it's supposed to. The butterflies will open but some say they open to soon and don't do the job they are intended to do.

hooking it directly to the manifold is not going to let it function like its suppose to. stock they will stay closed until 4600-4700, then open.

hooking to the manifold, the plates will be closed at idle, and open at WOT. and partially open inbetween, depending on how much vacuum your pulling.

so while it doesn't work exactly like stock, it will work somewhat good enough. it's better than keeping them open all the time,
